Welcome to Horse Progress Days 2025
The local planning team looks forward to hosting each of you and your families from all across the United States and beyond. We want to extend a special
welcome to our many international guests. We hope you truly enjoy your visit to the northernmost location of this great event.
A special thanks to the Yoder family for once again offering their farm to facilitate this event. To show our gratitude, let’s be diligent in putting our trash in garbage cans
and not on the ground!
The purpose of HPD is to inspire innovative agricultural practices on the family farms and homesteads. We hope you can gain the education and resources you came for to help fulfill your goals at home.
Because of our smaller and more scattered Amish communities, our local board and volunteers come from various places in the state.
Check out our produce growing section with greenhouse and field produce. We consider this event to be a tremendous asset to our horse fanning and homesteading
communities and are pleased to offer programming each day that appeals to whole families. This includes a pony express in the morning, round pen training
sessions throughout the day, seminars, and demonstrations on homesteading and homemaking. (NOTICE: we will be offering a limited amount of reserved
seating for seminars, for more information, see page 47) A children’s play and activity area will be available, and of course the hallmark of Horse Progress Days;
demonstrations of newly manufactured horse drawn equipment in real field conditions behind real horses. Be sure to look for the unique innovations today’s manufacturers
are building into their equipment.
Stroll through the vendor areas where you just might find that unique item that fits
your interest. Please practice safety while on the grounds!
We look forward to meeting you and hosting you as you arrive in Clare MI, the Gateway to the North!
